Anodizing Colors

Anodizing colors is a treatment method that involves immersing aluminum alloys in a specific chemical solution and forming an oxide film through an electrolytic process.   This treatment enhances the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys and allows for the creation of various colors on the surface, adding a decorative aspect.  This is commonly seen in aluminum alloy products such as bicycles, motorcycle handles, and automotive parts.

Hard Anodizing Black (Black Dyeing)

Hard anodizing black is a method of altering the surface color of aluminum alloys, typically to provide a black appearance.   It is achieved during the anodizing process, where an oxide film forms on the aluminum surface, which can then be turned black through dyeing or other treatment steps.   This treatment is commonly used in manufacturing motorcycle parts, industrial equipment, and the like.
 
 

Electroplating

Electroplating is a process by which a metal coating is adhered to a metal surface.  Electroplating on aluminum alloy can increase its surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics.  Common coatings include copper, nickel, chrome, etc.  This is commonly seen in the manufacturing of jewelry, automotive parts, and household equipment.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is a treatment method that involves spraying sand particles or other abrasive grains at high speed to remove or roughen the surface of an aluminum alloy.  This can change the texture of the aluminum alloy surface and increase its roughness, typically used to enhance adhesion, such as paint or adhesive.  It can also be used to create special surface textures for aluminum alloy products, such as a matte appearance.
